We had a fab time making biscuits today with our minis class this morning 😁👨🍳 Thank you to all our wonderful bakers for joining us!
Whilst their biscuits were in the oven the children got to play games, complete a craft, build bricks and complete a sequence puzzle.
The biscuits smelt amazing and went down a treat with our young bakers 🤩🍪

It was a great morning running a cooking class for our local home education group today. They made pizza pasties 🍕 The children did such a good job following instructions, preparing their meal and tidying away afterwards. Every child tried and ate their creations.
Some of the children in the group would have never tried this meal if it was put in front of them but after making it themselves and knowing what was in it they all gave it a go 😁💚 Well done!!

We are making blackberry cordial this morning after we picked over a kilo of blackberries yesterday 😅
Top tip: When foraging for fruit remember to use the 10% rule. If there are fewer than ten plants available always leave them for the local wildlife.

We are so pleased with the response and support from todays announcement about our new sessions. After feedback we have added a Friday morning to our calendar from October for our minis group.
Bookings will go live for October at the beginning of September 😁

The team at Mini Explorers have been planning something exciting behind the scenes and have put together a creative cooking club for children aged 2-11 years.
There are 3 separate groups. These are:
👩🍳Mini Cooking Explorers - 2 to 5 years
- 2 sessions per month on a Thursday at 10:00am to 11:30am
🧑🍳Junior Cooking Explorers - 4 to 11 years
- 2 sessions per month on a Wednesday at 4:00pm to 5:15pm
👨🍳Home-Ed Cooking Explorers - 4 to 11 years
- 1 Session on a Monday at 4:00pm to 5:15pm
- 1 session on a Friday at 10am to 11:30am
(During September there with only be one class per group)

These exciting pay as you go cooking classes are a great opportunity for your children to learn new skills, importance of healthy eating and building confidence in the kitchen. Parents are required to stay with their children. Independence is encouraged with gentle aid from parents or class leader if needed. Small class sizes of 10 where the children are able to cook something new each week. Find more information on our website link above.
