Playdays Early Years at Longlevens Primary Federation Welcome to Playdays Early Years, part of The Longlevens Primary Federation The Key Person is also responsible for building up a learning journey for your child.

At Playdays, your child will be allocated a Key person who will support yours and your child's needs. They will build up a strong bond with your child during their time with us and help them feel safe and secure in their new environment. This will include observations, photographs and art work, as well as individually planned next steps to support their individual needs.

We have had such a lovely few weeks settling in to Cubs and Bears.
The children have been busy exploring our lovely setting.
Bears have enjoyed looking at their emotions and reading The Colour Monster.

☀️🍦 We have had lots of fun over the past couple of weeks in the cubs room.
We have been reading the You Choose books and using our imaginations lots in our play.

We have made sand ice creams, played with jelly, turned lanterns in to planets and made our own lemonade.

Preschool have been reading What the ladybird heard at Playdays.
We have had lots of fun incorporating the story into our play.
We dressed up as thieves and pretended to try to take the animals, some other friends dressed up as police officers.
We had sensory ladybird trays to explore.
We also had our first forest school session where we got to go on a bug hunt and explore our environment. 🐛🐞🪲

🦈🦈The children in cubs have loved reading the story of the Shark in the Park and playing with the sea-life animals out in the garden. They especially loved playing with our new solar fountain, it was lots of fun getting wet.

We have also had a lovely walk around the track where we talked about the environment around us.
