What a lovely session today. Continuing with our Andy Goldsworthy theme, we practiced colour mixing skills with watercolour and began to paint our own autumnal leaves. To be continued…..

I’ve always loved the feeling of a fresh start in September, and this year feels particularly special as we begin the new term in our brand-new Art Space. 🎨

It’s the same familiar location, but a different room — and what a lovely space it is to create, experiment and spend time together.

It’s wonderful to have everyone back, and especially lovely to welcome some new members to the group.

Here’s to a creative year ahead and all the wonderful things it might bring! ✨

So proud of our Art Group today❤️ The exhibition was wonderful and the comments from our visitors were so positive and encouraging. Thank you to everyone who came to see us and our art work, and talk to us about what we do. We are very much looking forward to the coming year, growing and progressing in our new room ‘The Art Space’.

In preparation for our exhibition I asked for some feedback from our members on what our Community Art Group meant to them.
The responses brought a tear to my eye!🥲

Hi, I started this fundraiser, Grange Community Art Group, on GoFundMe and it would mean a lot to me if you’d be able to share it with people you know who may be able to help or donate to it.

Hi, my name is Caireen and I run a wonderful Community Art Group in Tuffley, Gloucester. … Caireen Devereux needs your support for Grange Community Art Group

This half term’s creations have been inspired by Matisse. First of all we created collages then worked in groups to make collaborative printed pieces. Lots of mess.. and lots of fun!🫟
