Edward Jenner School

Edward Jenner School is a unique, high quality, small-scale independent school situated in the heart of Gloucester, dedicated to providing small class and bespoke learning programmes for children aged between 5 and 16. We are experienced and enthusiastic teachers who have practiced through three decades of educational policies. With this experience has come our well formulated vision for success. We are non-selective, but offer taster days to ensure a good fit for all children, these help inform planning and make sure your child will be happy to come and learn with us. We are special because your child will be taught in a small group following his or her own bespoke learning programme. This is designed specifically in order to maximise progress, build confidence, resilience and self-esteem. We know children need to practise core skills every day; reading, grammar, spelling, arithmetic and times table are learnt best in a focussed morning session. These skills once acquired enhance all future learning; your child will be a lifelong learner on graduation from EJS. Our remaining curriculum is exploratory, exciting and inspiring promoting thinking and a love of learning. Enrolling your child at Edward Jenner School will make their learning happen.
