Last weekend I got back to doing what I love teaching... with my lifelong grooming mentor carol parcheeni hutchins. We had a fab day sharing our knowledge with other groomers. They all brought their own dogs and worked on them with scissors only. You all did fantastic and loom forward to seeing you all again soon x

So we held a certification day today and huge congratulations to you all that did so well a special big shout out to Jess that needed a little extra tuition but she totally rocked today and passed with flying colours. Xx

That's Jules Angie Bayliss, sophie and rohan all completed a canine first aid course today well done ladies. This is included as part of the junior paws course xx
I read a statement about keeping fit etc and the key word is consistently. If you want good results and improvements consistently is key and I thought how true with Dog Grooming. Yes you can do a course with me and we load you with as much knowledge as we can get into a course but you truly need to consistently practise, consistently research and consistently keep learning this is all key to becoming a better dog groomer. 28 years of dog grooming and I'm always amazed at how much more there is still to learn. Xx
In order to offer our students indepth courses we are aware it is important we as teachers continue to learn ourselves. Today we attended a fabulous canine anatomy course with Julie Harris, hosted at another fabulous school ( The Training Room in portsmouth). We are very excited to be getting more learning materials to share with all our students 😁
This reminds me of my very own dog grooming journey... a few falls but you get there eventually... everybody reaches there destination in their own time xx
