Today marks the one-year anniversary of the tragic loss of our dear colleague and friend, Hayley, who was an integral part of our Intoplay family.

It is hard to comprehend that a year has passed without her presence and we still miss her dearly every day.

As always, our thoughts and love are with her family, friends, and colleagues 💖

Today marks Hayley’s birthday. The toughest few months have gone by and she is so missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
It’s no coincidence that today is also International Women’s Day. She was one of the strongest, funniest, and courageous women we had the pleasure to know and work with.
Our thoughts are with Hayley’s family and friends always, but especially today. ❤️❤️

🎄| The Ledbury Christmas Tractor Run IS returning again this year on Wednesday 18th December! Beep Beep! 🚜🎅

🎄| The Hereford Christmas Tractor Run IS returning again this year on Saturday 21st December! Beep Beep! (4.30pm-7.30pm!) 🚜🎅

Last year’s tractor runs in Hereford, Ledbury and Gloucester raised more than £10,000 for charity!

Hundreds of people lined the streets last year. It’s always such a great family event! 😍

It is with a deep sadness that we inform you all of the untimely passing of one of our much loved friends and colleagues. Our lovely Hayley Pensom (née Brisbane) passed away last Wednesday after a very short illness which she fought so courageously.

Hayley has been part of our Intoplay team since 2002, starting her career at our Longlevens site. During this time she became an Auntie to four lovely nieces, married her husband Scott, and had two beautiful children who we have watched grow up.

Being one of our longest serving members of staff, Hayley formed very close friendships across all three sites, many of whom have worked together for 20 years plus. We know it brought Hayley great comfort in her final weeks to be supported and cared for so deeply by some of our lovely team, past and present, who knew her so well.

Over the past few days, we have received countless messages from former colleagues/families of Intoplay who have got in touch to share their deepest sympathies and kind words about Hayley who they all remember so fondly.

Hayley will be missed for many things, but above all for her wicked sense of humour, quick wit and infectious giggle that never failed to put a smile on people’s faces. We take comfort in the fact that in these very difficult times our team can share their stories and memories of Hayley and support each other through this very challenging time.

For everyone who knew and loved Hayley, this news has been devastating and a stark reminder that life is so short and so very precious, and at times, incredibly cruel. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with Hayley’s family and loved ones at this very sad time. If anyone wishes to send a card of condolence please send them to The Quays or Barnwood Nursery and we will make sure they are passed on to Hayley’s family for you.

You will be so missed, Hayley, you were taken from us all far, far too soon. We’ll always have a packet of cheese thins and a brew waiting for you 💗
