📨A message from Kelly...
I wanted to let everyone know I will be leaving the University of Gloucestershire at the end of this month to take on a new project management role. It hasn't been an easy decision to leave after 22 years as student and staff, 14 of which have been at Playwork Partnerships.
I wanted to thank everyone I have worked with for the amazing collaborations and partnerships over the years on all things play and playwork. I have enjoyed my time working in the playwork sector, and the decision to leave was a very difficult one and I will be sad to say goodbye. I will take away many a happy memory of conferences, training, publications and project work.
For those who are currently active PPATs and/or organising and delivering PP training this will continue and Karen will be your contact at the university for this. You can also still use the Partnerships email address [email protected] to get in touch.
Karen will post soon with any further PP updates.
I do hope to continue to be involved in Play and Playwork in some way in the future, so this may not be a final goodbye to you all.
With thanks and best wishes,
Kelly x

We love this film you can take so much away from it and it most certainly highlights the importance of play!

The power of play is amazing!
Funding cuts, cost of living, lack of provision and training mean so many children miss out on quality play opportunities.
How play makes hospital less traumatic for children
Play specialists help children recover quicker yet 80% of hospitals only have a £500 budget for this.
