What a wonderful summer term we’ve had at HEY. We've made the most of the beautiful weather by spending lots of time outdoors, exploring nature, discovering new things, and enjoying all the wonderful learning opportunities our outdoor environment has to offer. 🌼🍃
Our Preschool Leavers Celebration was a very special event, and it was lovely to see so many of our families joining us. Together we enjoyed a range of outdoor activities at forest school including a bubble station, bug hunting adventures, and creating our annual handprint canvas – a treasured keepsake featuring every child's handprint to remember this special year. 🎨🫧🐞
One of our favourite themed days was our Teddy Bears' Picnic! The children loved bringing in their favourite teddy bears from home before setting off on an exciting bear hunt, searching high and low and ticking off all the bears we could find along the way. 🧸🧺✔️
Our learning has continued indoors too, where we've enjoyed getting creative with scented playdough using fresh herbs, making our own clay bugs, and exploring our nature investigation table. One of the highlights of the term has been watching our caterpillars grow, form their chrysalises, and finally emerge as beautiful butterflies before being released into the garden. 🦋🌱🐛
A huge thank you to all of our amazing children and families for another incredible term. We are especially proud of our preschool leavers as they get ready for their next big adventure at school. We wish you all the very best-you'll always be part of our preschool family. ❤️
