Quedgeley Town Council is looking for someone who is passionate about our community and wants to play an active role in shaping its future.

As a voluntary Town Councillor you will work as part of a team to represent local residents, help make important decisions and contribute to the continued development of the second-largest Town Council in Gloucestershire.

We are looking for someone who is:

enjoys working as part of a team
can bring fresh ideas and think innovatively
cares about the future of Quedgeley and Kingsway
Is willing to give their time to support the local community

July 2026 Newsletter Dear Parents and Carers,

The last few days have been inundated with stars and other awards so we're just catching up with sharing how wonderful everyone has been over the past few weeks.

Last Friday the Golden Certficates were awarded to all of the children in each class, which brough great joy to the hall.

We've enjoyed the Golden Tables so much and the prizes have gone down a real storm this year.

We are already looking forward to starting this all again in September!

As the school year draws to a close, the Pre School children have enjoyed making ever-lasting memories together.
All the staff at Little Explorers will miss them but we know they will have the best time at school.

The Year 2 Leavers Service reminded us why these children mean so much to our school community. Their singing was joyful, their dancing full of energy, and their smiles lit up the hall. It was a show filled with laughter, emotion, and pride — a perfect celebration of everything they’ve achieved. Year 2, you were truly wonderful!

During the last few weeks at Interactives After School Club we have been enjoying the weather and have been on the adventure zone and the field where it has been lovely and cool.

All the staff at Interactives would like to wish our Year 2 children good luck in their new adventures.

Have a lovely summer to all and we look forward to welcoming you back in September in our new home in Cherry Class 😎

🌟 Year 2 Fun Day! 🌟
What a fantastic day our Year 2 children had at their Fun Day! 🎉
There were smiles and laughter all around as the children enjoyed bouncing on the bouncy castle and taking on the exciting inflatable assault course. 🏰✨

The fun didn't stop there! The children loved getting their nails beautifully decorated and choosing from a range of colourful tattoos to show off their unique styles. 💅🎨

Our creative learners also had the opportunity to take part in a variety of arts and crafts activities, using their imagination to create some wonderful pieces of artwork. 🎭🖌️

It was a day filled with fun, friendship and fantastic memories, and we are so proud of how well the children behaved and supported one another throughout the day.

👏 A huge thank you to the Friends of Field Court Infants (FOFCI) for organising such a fun-filled day for our children. Your hard work, generosity and dedication helped create a truly special experience that the children will remember for a long time. We are incredibly grateful for all that you do to support our school community. ❤️

Well, it happened. And they allowed me to do it dressed as the Can Do Cat!!! 🐈 (A character from our meta cognitive helpers called the Pets of Yet.)

We can accommodate from our Little Hippos at 3-5yrs, U6-U8’s Tag Rugby then full contact in age groups U9,U10,U11,U12,U13,U14 & U16’s. Qualified Coaches all DBS Checked and First Aid holders.
