When "torrential rain and high winds" dont put off the young people... 🌧💨

With friends from Bromsgrove BB and 8th Birmingham, we took on Cadair Idris ⛰️ — and the Welsh weather certainly didn’t make it easy! Wind, rain and plenty of mud, but that didnt stop us 💪

It was tough climb but filled with plenty of laughs, and a great sense of achievement reaching the top together 🙌

Well done to everyone who took part — an adventure to remember! 💙

A special shout out to the sheep who joined us for lunch 🐑 and the rainbow we saw on the drive up 🌈

This Bank Holiday weekend Stevie and Lizzie have completed their DOE Silver Qualifying expedition in the Peak District with 1st Tewkesbury Boys Brigade.
Saturday they started at Cromford taking in Matlock camping at New Barn Campsite. The weather was terrible with constant rain.
Sunday took in Youlgreave and Larkhill Dale camping at Lathkill Wild Campsite. Much better weather.
Monday was the last day taking them through Monyash and Flagg finishing at Taddrington.

Last week we had three of our young people attend KGVI Youth Leader Training Course at Broomley Grange Activity Centre 😁

They had a fantastic week equipping them with different skills and knowledge which they will be able to put into practice when they get back home 🏡

Being able to meet other young leaders from across the country has built relationships that will last as well as enjoying the company of those who can share the same experiences 🤩
