🌾🍞 Blessed Lammas / Lughnasadh to all who celebrate! 🍞🌾
Today marks Lammas, or by its ancient Gaelic name, Lughnasadh—the festival of the First Harvest and one of the great sacred festivals of the Pagan Wheel of the Year.
It is a time to pause and give thanks for the abundance the Earth has provided, to honour the hard work that has brought us to this moment, and to recognise that every harvest begins with a single seed. Whether that harvest is found in our fields, our homes, our relationships, or within ourselves, today reminds us to celebrate how far we have come.
Traditionally dedicated to the god Lugh, the many-skilled one, Lughnasadh celebrates craftsmanship, community, gratitude, and the turning of the seasons as the light slowly begins its journey toward autumn.
May this sacred day fill your heart with gratitude, your home with abundance, and your spirit with hope for the season ahead. Take time to share a meal, break fresh bread with loved ones, honour the land beneath your feet, and give thanks for all the blessings—both great and small.
🌾 May your harvest be plentiful, your hearth be warm, and your path be blessed.
Blessed Lammas. Blessed Lughnasadh. 🌞🍎

⚓ What is your spare anchor?
A ship is built to sail the open sea—to explore, to grow, and to reach distant horizons. But no matter how strong the ship or how favourable the wind, it will never reach its true potential if it’s dragging an anchor behind it.
In life, that anchor can be many things.
Fear of failure. Regret over the past. Self-doubt. Toxic relationships. Old habits. Comfort zones. Commitments that no longer align with who you are becoming.
We often carry these burdens because they’re familiar, convincing ourselves they’ll keep us safe. In reality, they’re only slowing our progress.
Sometimes, the hardest decision you’ll ever make is to let go. But once you do, you’ll discover just how much strength you had all along. The winds of opportunity have always been there—you simply needed to stop dragging what was never meant to come with you.
Ask yourself today: What is the spare anchor in your life?
Throw it overboard. Set your course. Trust the journey.
You may be surprised by how far—and how fast—you were truly meant to sail. ⚓🌊

Wishing everyone a blessed and joyful Litha (Summer Solstice)! ☀️🌿🔥
Today marks the longest day and shortest night of the year, a sacred turning point in the Wheel of the Year. For pagans, Litha is a time of celebration, gratitude, and honouring the life-giving power of the Sun at its peak strength.
It is a festival of light, abundance, fertility, growth, and the beauty of the natural world. Traditionally, people gathered around bonfires, celebrated the bounty of the land, and gave thanks to the Old Gods and spirits of nature for the blessings of the season.
While the Sun reaches its greatest height in the sky, Litha also reminds us that all things move in cycles. From this day forward, the days slowly begin to shorten once more, making it a powerful time for reflection, appreciation, and recognising the balance between light and darkness.
May this Solstice bring you strength, prosperity, happiness, and a deeper connection to the earth beneath your feet and the ancient traditions that continue to inspire us today.
Blessed Litha! ☀️🌿🔥

👻 GLOUCESTER ANTIQUE CENTRE GHOST TOUR – JUNE 2026 👻
Are you brave enough to uncover the hidden history and paranormal mysteries lurking within one of Gloucester’s most intriguing historic buildings?
Join me, Paul Cowmeadow, for an exclusive guided ghost tour of the Gloucester Antique Centre on Saturday 27th June 2026, where we’ll explore centuries of history, strange occurrences, unexplained sightings, and some of the most compelling paranormal reports connected to the building.
Over the years, visitors, traders and staff have reported a variety of unusual experiences, including unexplained footsteps, objects seemingly moving on their own, shadowy figures glimpsed from the corner of the eye, cold spots, and strange noises coming from empty areas of the building. During recent investigations, several guests have also reported feeling watched in certain locations and experiencing sudden changes in temperature with no obvious explanation.
The building itself has a fascinating past, standing in the heart of historic Gloucester and witnessing generations of local life, business and change. As we journey through its rooms, corridors and hidden spaces, you’ll hear stories from the building’s past alongside accounts of modern-day paranormal activity that continue to fuel its reputation as one of Gloucester’s most talked-about haunted locations.
