👕 Please make sure children come to school looking smart and wearing their full school uniform.

🏊 We are aware that some classes also have swimming on Thursday – don’t worry, we will plan the photo timetable carefully around this.

A huge congratulations to Sarah and our fantastic kitchen team on achieving an amazing 5-star food hygiene rating! 👏🎉

This is a brilliant achievement and a real reflection of the hard work, care and high standards they put into everything they do each day.

From preparing delicious meals to making sure everything is clean, safe and up to the highest standards, we are so lucky to have such a dedicated kitchen team looking after our children. 💜

🏫 Open Sessions – September 2027 💜

Are you considering Finlay for your child for September 2027? We’d love to welcome you into school! 😊

We are holding a number of open sessions where you can come and have a look around, meet us, take a tour of the school and visit classrooms to see our children learning.

📅 Our open sessions are:

12th October– 9.15–10.15am
14th October – 9.15–10.15am
22nd October – 2.15–3.15pm
12th November – 4.00–5.00pm
17th November – 9.15–10.15am
18th November – 2.15–3.15pm
26th November– 4.00–5.00pm
1st December– 9.15–10.15am

⭐ Spaces are limited, with a maximum of 8 families at each session.

☺️ If we reach capacity we will organise more sessions. We will work to accommodate everyone.

🎹 Can our Finlay community help? 🚐

We’ve been lucky enough to source a FREE piano for our OPAL play provision – which we know the children will absolutely love! 🎶

There’s just one small problem… we need to get it to school! - and it does not fit on the mini bus 😬

We’re wondering whether anyone in our community has access to a van and a little bit of free time on Thursday or Friday afternoon and would be willing to help us collect and transport the piano to school.

Piano dimensions are 117cm H x 135cm W x 49cm D
