Our Urban Champions Belt Testing Syllabus Videos are on their way! 🎥🥋

A few months ago, we recorded a full set of syllabus videos ready to upload to the Urban App. Unfortunately, we ran into a few technical issues which meant members weren’t able to view the app videos properly. 😩📱

But… GOOD NEWS! 🎉

Our app software team have now fixed the issue! 🙌

So we’ve been back in front of the camera and re-recorded the videos, ready to get everything uploaded again! 🎬🔥

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be working hard behind the scenes to get the videos onto the app, giving our Urban Champions another way to practise, learn and prepare for belt testing at home! 💪🥋

We’ll let you know as soon as they’re LIVE! 📲

They’re built on the days you’re tired… but still SHOW UP.

The days training gets tough… but you PUSH THROUGH.

And the days when something doesn’t quite go right… but you try it again and again until you get it. 💪🔥

Every class.
Every repetition.
Every mistake.
Every challenge.
Every small improvement.

It all counts. 🥋

Because your martial arts journey isn’t about being perfect or being the most talented person on the mats.

It’s about developing the discipline to keep showing up, the confidence to challenge yourself, and the resilience to keep moving forward when things get difficult. 💛🖤

Yesterday we got the Urban Team together for our latest Quarterly Meeting! 🙌

Unfortunately Jess couldn’t make this one, and Cheneice joined us via video call but it was a great meeting and the perfect way to head into the final quarter of the year! 🚀

We looked back at the last quarter and had some really productive conversations about:

📈 Our highs and what’s working well
🧠 Our lows and what we’ve learned
🎯 Areas we can improve
👏 Areas where we’re already succeeding
🔥 And our goals and focus heading into the final months of 2026!

Running Urban is a team effort, and meetings like these give us the opportunity to come together, share ideas and make sure we’re constantly looking at how we can make Urban even better for our members. 💛🥋

And of course… it wouldn’t be an Urban Quarterly Meeting without finishing things off properly…

🥊🏆 URBAN OPEN — WHAT A DAY! 🏆🥊

What an absolutely fantastic day we had at our Urban Open! 💛🖤

One of the best part of yesterday was seeing so many of our members stepping onto the competition mats and ring for the VERY FIRST TIME, getting their first taste of the competition side of kickboxing! 👏🔥

For some, it was competition number one.
For others, number two, three… or many more! 🥊

But regardless of experience, every single one of you stepped up, challenged yourselves and fought amazingly! 🙌

Competition takes courage. It means stepping outside your comfort zone, putting the skills you’ve learned in class to the test and being willing to challenge yourself in front of others. 💪

Win or lose, there’s always something to learn and something to be proud of. 💛

A MASSIVE well done to all of our Urban Gloucester & Forest of Dean members who competed. Seeing both locations come together, support one another and share the mats is exactly what the Urban Open is all about. 🖤💛

You should ALL be incredibly proud of yourselves! 👏🏆
