We are delighted to celebrate the success of Cecily, a recent Year 13 leaver, who has achieved a Distinction in her ABRSM Diploma in Music Performance, scoring an impressive 46 out of 50 on the recorder. 🎶
A former chorister, Cecily’s success is a fantastic achievement, and we thank Mr Thomas for his outstanding support along the way. We are incredibly proud of her! 👏🎉

A week of outstanding music-making! The 2026 Three Choirs Festival came to a glorious close at Gloucester Cathedral with choristers from The King's School, Gloucester, King's Worcester and Hereford Cathedral School in a series of services and concerts.

As our 485th anniversary year drew to a close, our Senior School Foundation Day was a fitting celebration of another remarkable year at King's.
The day began with staff and pupils coming together in the School Hall to reflect on the highlights of the year, celebrating achievements across academic life, music, drama and sport, alongside a series of memorable performances.
Parents, families and special guests then joined us in the Cathedral for the Prize-Giving Service and End of Year Service. We were honoured to welcome former King's pupil, Stuart Boreham, as our Guest of Honour. A Guinness World Record holder for completing the first solo, unassisted and unsupported transatlantic row by a physically disabled person, Stuart shared an inspiring message of resilience, determination and hope, encouraging our pupils to believe in what they can achieve.
The celebrations continued as we bid a fond farewell to our Year 13 leavers in Dulverton Gardens, before the King's community came together on Paddock to enjoy refreshments, fun activities and time together in the sunshine. It was a wonderful way to mark the end of our 485th anniversary year and another memorable chapter in the life of King's.
