David Rees Holistic Learning Alternative provision, based in Gloucester. All the young people who are part of our learning hub are neurodivergent.

David Rees Holistic Learning Ltd are an alternative provision, based in Gloucester, for neurodivergent children with SEND including: ASD, ADHD and SEMH. We offer a holistic, low-demand transition
environment with face to face to blended learning opportunities for our commissioned young people either in individual or in small groups (maximum 4). Most have autistic spectrum differences, a good level of academic potential, all with high anxiety, often accompanied by mental health challenges. We are commissioned by the local education authority and have strong links with partner schools all around Gloucestershire. Some of our young people are commissioned on a private arrangement.

🌻What a way to end the term.🌻

Thank you to every parent and young person who left us cards, gifts and kind words yesterday - we really weren't expecting it, and it meant more than you know. One of our YPs even gave us a poem, which completely made our day (and maybe got a few of us a bit emotional!). Reading through your messages has been the best possible way to close out the year.

To our YPs especially: seeing how far you've each come is why we do this. We're so proud of you, and we can't wait to see what you go on to do next. Good luck in the future - you'll always be part of our story here. 💛

🌻As this term wraps up, we've been reading back through what our parents told us this year.🌻

"He's a different young man from when he started, with a much brighter future."
That's the bit we hold onto - not the reports, but the real change in these young people.
