🩰 Grade 5 Ballet 🩰
Our Grade 5 Ballet class is the perfect place to build strength, control and confidence while continuing to refine classical technique.
Every Saturday | 1:15–1:45pm ✨

We’ve recently introduced PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) into our lessons, using specialist equipment to help dancers better understand correct alignment, placement and muscle engagement. PBT allows students to feel how their bodies should be working, improving balance, core strength, turnout and overall stability — all essential for strong, safe technique.

A focused, supportive class for dancers who are ready to challenge themselves and take their ballet training to the next level 💕

MEET OUR TEACHERS

Miss Ruby
Miss Ruby is a passionate dancer, and teacher. Her vocational training is with Wilkes Academy. With a lot of experience performing in professional pantomimes and stage productions, she brings a wealth of stage knowledge and creative energy to every class she teaches.

Most recently, Ruby choreographed -A Celebration of Music – Joseph Smile (September 2025), a vibrant production that featured celebrated performers such as Brenda Edwards, Lee Mead, and Oscar Hartland.

Ruby’s stage career began at a young age, performing for Crossroads Pantomimes and Imagine Theatre in productions including Snow White, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Cinderella, Peter Pan, and Beauty and the Beast. These experiences helped her develop a strong foundation in performance, teamwork, and stagecraft.

Alongside her performing work, Ruby has developed a real passion for teaching. She has extensive experience working with children and young dancers, helping them build confidence, technique, and a love for dance. She is ISTD CPD trained in Contemporary Dance and is finalising her Level 4 DDE qualifications in Tap and Modern with the ISTD.

Miss Ruby brings enthusiasm, creativity, and professionalism to every class — inspiring her students to express themselves through dance while nurturing their technical ability and performance confidence🧡🧡🧡

MEET OUR TEACHERS

Miss Lily

Lily whose training at the Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts has increased her passion for choreography as well as performance, brings energy, creativity, and fun to every class she teaches.

She has had experience working as a choreographer with the Susan Robinson School of Ballet and Performing Arts and Terri Jayne Theatre Arts, successfully creating pieces for the All England Dance Festivals.

Lily’s further experience includes performing with the Northern Ballet In The Nutcracker, becoming a 6x world champion at the Dance World Cup, winning the Young Dancer Awards at 2 festivals, performing and assisting at the major dance convention ‘Move It’. She also was awarded a scholarship to attend Ballet Boost associates.

Working with young performers has really become an important role in her career, and is something she is heavily involved in. She has completed ISTD Modern and Tap and RAD Ballet, achieving Distinction in every grade up until advanced 1 across all 3 disciplines. She is now finalising her level 4 DDE in Tap and Modern with ISTD.

Lily is thrilled to be joining Centre Pointe and cannot wait to share her love for dance with the next generation of performers!💚💚💚

✨ Class of the Week: Pointe Prep! ✨
This week in our Pointe Prep class, we focused on foot strengthening exercises — building strong, supportive ankles and ensuring beautiful, safe placement while on pointe. 💪🩰

Join us every Saturday from 1:30–2:00 PM to develop your strength, alignment, and confidence on pointe!
