I am currently on holiday having a well deserved rest with my boys.
Never forget my Little Peas children though.
Time for a few updates on our wonderful Summer. This year might have been my favourite so far with so many wonderful memories made π

Friendships that grow at Little Peas π

The children helped me harvest a small bounty. The courgettes are obviously doing their thing, so have been sending parents home with them, but also just thought I'd share a little hack that I do a lot.
Grate courgette into these silicon moulds. Freeze them, then pop them out and into a freezer bag. Then you have a little portion to throw into your meals, and I love finding ways to sneak extra veggies into children's meals. These just disappear into Bolognese sauce, any sauces in fact, casseroles, rice dishes.
I also use these silicon moulds for things like apple sauce. I had some crinkly apples ( why are children either in an apple mood and eat them all immediately, or just not bother with them at all π). So rather than waste them I steamed and blended them, and now have apple sauce ready to go, and my little peas do really love apple sauce π

Saying goodbye is hard!
3 years. From baby to school. Chubby little cheeks and trusting hearts.
What a pleasure and honour it has been to look after these lovely children, and my job has been made so much easier by the fantastic families.
We will miss them so much, but so proud of them as they move on to their next adventure π.
Goodbye to our 2 big boys from school, who are ready for lots of club activities. They've been such fun and I will treasure the memories.
