Massive congratulations to Emma who has passed her level 5 Early Years lead practitioner. Emma has worked very hard and we are all very proud of her 🥳

This week is going to be a hot one!

So please can we kindly ask that you put sun cream on your child before arriving at nursery and also bring a sun hat!

The children have had a great week celebrating Easter! They have taken part in lots of Easter crafts and messy play activities. Today they took part in an Easter egg hunt in the garden! Happy Easter to everybody 🐣 we hope that everyone has a wonderful long Easter weekend ☀️

Today we had one of Mummy’s come into nursery and show us a traditional Hindu dance. They played the roles of Lord Koushna’s Mummy and friend. Both were signing and calling Lord Krishna home from small steps. The children enjoyed dancing together too.

🧴 With the sun shining☀️(for now!) can we remind all parents to please put suncream on the children before they come into nursery. This is to ensure that we can keep the children safe when playing in the garden. Thank you🧴

Today we celebrated and learnt all about St Patrick’s day. We invited the children to wear something green and all children took part in lots of (green) activities. The children made Irish soda bread which they enjoyed tasting!

We have had a wonderful week enjoying the sunshine ☀️ All age groups have managed to go for a walk this week noticing changes in the environment 🌲 we have spotted lots of different colours, types of flowers and numbers around our local area.

Over the last few days we have celebrated St David’s day 🌼 and pancake day 🥞 on Friday the children enjoyed eating a chicken stew with leeks, making bara brith for pudding and today we enjoyed some yummy pancakes with lots of different toppings! We have had lots of fun!

We have taken part in lots of magical celebrations before we break up for Christmas. The pre school children took part in a Christmas concert which was fantastic! All children enjoyed a Christmas dinner on Monday with all the trimmings. We ended with our Children’s Christmas party where we had a couple of visitors join! We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
