Playwork Inspired Learning is all about encouraging a child's imagination to thrive. Allowing your child the freedom the explore the world on their terms and in their own time is key to their development.

Play has had a huge impact on 'Playwork Inspired Learning' author Chris Watkins' life. This is one of the reasons she is so keen to help others reap the benefits of it!

Playwork Inspired Learning can be easily broken down, into three areas:

🔵Possibility
🔵Opportunity
🔵Play

"Children all develop uniquely following their own path of learning, whilst working towards a curriculum-based set of outcomes.Playwork is no longer taught in any modules within the early years curriculum for any practitioners who are training, and many practitioners are under the belief that Play and Playwork are the same thing."

Such a simple idea, but children (and adults), love randomly spotting playfulness in the environment. We can teach children their colours, shapes, letters, writing and how to read, but if they don’t have the confidence to put their hand up….. we have already made it harder for our children. Let play lead them to where and what they want to learn naturally, this way, the confidence in their ability and the drive to share this information will develop naturally
