What better way to end the term than with fancy dress, magic and cake! This week we followed a kind witch and her friends on an adventure where they met a fire breathing dragon πŸ”₯ The children explored a witch's brew gloop, a lentils sensory tray and a sensory frog pond.

This has been such an amazing year for me, turning the idea of Sensory Stories into a reality. It has been such a privilege to meet so many lovely mums, dads, grandparents and carers and to watch your little ones develop each term. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me in developing Sensory Stories into what it is today.

We took a dive into the deep blue sea for our story this week 🌈🐠 The children explored (and consumed πŸ˜‚) a fish jelly dig with spaghetti seaweed as well as an under the sea sensory tent and rainbow tray.

Looking forward to an extra special session next week πŸŽ‰

Our story this week took us to a farmyard with some very noisy animals and a quiet little ladybird 🐞 The babies and toddlers explored a sensory duck pond, a shredded wheat farmyard and a very messy muddy pig sty πŸ–

It's a new term at Sensory Stories! I thoroughly enjoyed welcoming lots of you back to the classes today, it's amazing how much some of the children have changed over the summer πŸ₯° it was lovely to meet lots of new faces too.

Our story this week took us into the woods where we searched under a parachute to help the baby owls find their mother πŸ¦‰

The babies and toddlers enjoyed making playdough bird nests as well as exploring bird seed and a sensory nest.

We read Jack and the Beanstalk this week. The babies and toddlers delved into the edible paints and compared their footprints to the giant's. They also enjoyed diving into the castle in the clouds ball pit and exploring a golden sensory tray.

There aren't any classes next week. For those of you booked on to the September term we will be starting back on Friday 9th September. I can't wait to see you all then 😁

🐷🐺 We met a big bad wolf at Sensory Stories this week and huffed and puffed along with the story using our parachute. The babies and toddlers certainly got stuck into the messy play this week! I think Goldilocks wins the prize for the messiest class so farπŸ† hence me only managing to take two photos πŸ˜…

Along with some very messy porridge play the children also explored a sensory soft/hard tray and lots of big, middle-sized and small objects 🐻

Looking forward to cooler temperatures next week and another SOLD OUT session as we explore The Three Little Pigs story. There are currently 3 spaces remaining on Friday 26th when we will be visiting the world of Jack and the Beanstalk. Booking for the Autumn term is also open if you would like to join us.
