Carly had the most amazing time exploring everything Longleat has to offer.
Its amazing to see how inclusive and accessible the day was, with Carly able to enjoy so many attractions and experiences. One of the highlights for her was the wheelchair swing - she absolutely loved it 🩵
From getting up close and feeding the animals to having lots of fun in the splash park. It gets a 10/10 from Carly 🌟

It’s been 3 days since our Summer Fun Day, and we still aren’t over it🤩

We welcomed more than 200 people and what an incredible afternoon we all had! ☀️

A huge thank you again to everyone who attended, our amazing event staff for all their hard work before, during and after the event, our food & refreshment vendors and wonderful stallholders 💙

A special thank you to Greg for the amazing face painting 🎨, Beckie & Wizz for the bubbles 🫧, and of course the incredible Sharonrose and the band for bringing all the party vibes! 🎶💃

And of course, we can’t forget our very special visitors Bluey and Spiderman, who brought plenty of excitement and smiles! 🐾🕷️

For those joining us, here’s some useful information for the day:

🚗 Parking and Travel:
Please note that there is very limited onsite parking available at the event, for disabled badge holders only.
There is parking available at Pineholt Village Hall on Bird Road, but spaces are limited, so please consider travelling by public transport where possible.
🚌 The number 10 bus stops directly outside the event, making it a great option for getting to us!

☀️ The event is outdoors, with some shaded areas available, but please come prepared for the sunshine.
🧴 Wear plenty of sunscreen
🧢 Bring a hat
💧 Bring water and stay hydrated
☀️ Take breaks in the shade when needed

🩹 There will be a First Aid tent onsite should you need any assistance during the event.

👕 Look out for our FTCS event staff T-shirts. Our friendly team will be around throughout the day and can help with anything you might need.

💳💷 Many of our vendors will accept both card and cash, but please be aware that some vendors may be cash only. We recommend bringing some cash with you just in case!
