Fun music lessons available!

🎹 Piano
🎸 Guitar/Bass
🎶 Music Theory
🎤 Beatbox

Have you tried/failed to learn an instrument classically?
Lost interest within the first few months?
Want to skip the grades and get straight to playing the music you love?
Are you a self-taught musician who wants to put their current knowledge in order?

I can teach you the language of music & get you starting to play in just a few weeks time! I won't teach you how to read music; I'll teach you how to understand music & give you the tools to teach yourself even more!

I specialise in teaching kids (5+) & young people in the most engaging & fun ways, for those who struggle to focus!

Personal opinion: Music is a passion and often people get immediately turned off by sight reading. It's a VERY valuable skill to have, but not at the expense of enjoying yourself. My method trains the most musical part of the body: your ears!

Based in Gloucester, you can come to me, I can come to you or we can learn online. Lessons can be arranged for regular sessions or on an ad hoc basis: take your next lesson once you've fully absorbed the previous.

Here's an excercise for practicing scales for both Guitar and Piano!

I've posted the pattern in the comments, why not comment back with a video of you playing it?

Scales! What are they?

Good question!

My youngest student!

When I was living in a hut on a beach in Mexico, little Alaia was watching me practise singing and beatboxing with my microphone and effects pedal. She waddled over and wanted to sing into the mic, so I put my headphone on her so she could hear the sounds her voice would make with echos, distortions and pitch bending. She sang for about 45 minutes!

Karuna I'm so happy to hear she's still singing and dancing. This virus can't stop creativity!
