GAIL

Another week of fantastic progress at the GAIL site as the vision for our new school continues to become a reality.

Recent works have included significant advancements across both the primary and secondary provision, with mechanical and electrical first and second fix installations progressing throughout the building. Teams have been completing pipework, ductwork, lighting installations, wiring, plant room works, radiator installations and grilles, alongside continued fire stopping and misting system installations across all areas.

Every week brings us closer to opening our doors in January 2027, creating a purpose-built environment designed to support learning, independence and opportunity for every pupil.

As the school continues to take shape, we're also growing our team. If you're considering a career in education, we'd love to meet you at our Recruitment Drop-In Session on 4 September from 4pm to 6pm at Christchurch Abbeydale.

Last week we had the pleasure of visiting site to see the progress of the build.

We were blown away by the progress.

Individual outside classroom break out spaces for our primary pupils.

We cannot wait to welcome pupils to GAIL.

Checkout week 56 progress at GAIL.

The Activity studio is shaping up well along with the main hall and corridors.

Achievements this week:
🪛Mechanical 1st fix including pipework, lagging, plant room works and ductwork
🎇Electrical 1st and 2nd fix including dado installation, wiring and plant room works
🚪Doors, ironmongery, skirting and architrave to secondary school FF
✔️Block paving to front of school
✔️Vinyl installations to primary school classrooms
✔️Staff room kitchen installation to primary school wing
✔️Ceiling grid installation to rooms within primary and secondary school
✔️Screed pour to shared zone
✔️Fencing install commenced to upper MUGA

6 months to go until we welcome pupils on site.
