📢 A CHANGE AT CAFE ELM FROM THURSDAY 1ST OCTOBER 📢

We wanted to give you all a heads-up about some changes we’re making at Cafe Elm from Thursday 1st October.
From October, we will be closed to the public every WEDNESDAY and SATURDAY.
Our first Wednesday closure will be Wednesday 7th October, and our first Saturday closure will be Saturday 3rd October. After that, we’ll be closed every Wednesday and Saturday going forward.

Now, before anyone panics… 😅 Cafe Elm isn’t going anywhere! 💚 This change is something I’ve been thinking about for a while. As many of you know, I work pretty much 7 days a week, week in and week out, and whilst I absolutely LOVE what we’ve created here, it can be a lot to keep on top of.
Having these two days will give us some much-needed time for:
✨ Admin and paperwork
✨ Maintenance and cleaning
✨ Food deliveries and stock
✨ Getting everything organised behind the scenes
✨ Planning our parties and exclusive hires
✨ And, most importantly… a little breather! 😅

I am incredibly passionate about the parties and exclusive hire we offer at Cafe Elm, and even more passionate about keeping Cafe Elm here for the foreseeable future ❤️
These changes will help massively with making sure everything remains manageable, organised and running smoothly, without burning ourselves out.
The good news is that you can still enjoy all your Cafe Elm favourites Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with our opening hours remaining:
☕ 9am – 4pm
So you can still pop in for your breakfast, lunch, coffee & cake, delicious pancakes 🥞 and yummy milkshakes 🥤 — just on our four public opening days each week.
We really hope this won’t affect too many of you, and we genuinely appreciate your continued support and understanding.
We’re making this change because we want Cafe Elm to be here for many, many years to come. ❤️

What a lovely couple of days we’ve had celebrating our very own mini music festival… Kidzfest! 🎶🎪✨

In true festival style, the weather wasn’t quite on our side, but that certainly didn’t stop our children from having an amazing time! We’ve had music, dancing, fun, hair glitter, tattoos and plenty of happy memories made along the way. ❤️

Today also marks a very special — and slightly emotional — day for us, as we say goodbye to all of our School Leavers as they prepare to embark on their next big adventure… Reception! 🎓📚

We feel incredibly lucky to have been part of their early years journey and to have watched them grow, learn, develop and blossom into the confident, curious and active learners they are today. 🌟

For many of our leavers, their Into-Play journey began right back in our Baby Room, and we have had the privilege of watching and guiding them through every stage along the way. From those first tentative steps, first words and first friendships, right through to the wonderful little people they are today. ❤️

So, while we are incredibly excited to see what the future holds for them, saying goodbye for the final time is definitely bittersweet. Our Pre-School room is going to feel very different next week without them! 🥹

To all of our wonderful School Leavers — we wish you the very best as you walk through those big school gates next week. Be brave, be curious, keep learning, keep laughing and most importantly, keep being YOU! 🌈✨

We hope that when you look back on your early years, you remember your time at Into-Play as fondly as we will remember having you here. ❤️
