This resonated with me today. Looking back I find I have always been drawn to live life this way. Does it resonate with you?

Thought for today:
My parents' generation thought praise would make a child big-headed
Reality - it teaches children they are not worthy of praise and makes praise uncomfortable

Lunch by the river? Yes please! Life is definitely about having fun with the people I care about. 💕 And for me, lunch always means desert - its not lunch without cake, ice cream or meringue 😋

Everything worthwhile takes time. When I forget this, I look at my kids - no longer babies, no longer dependant, both living happy fulfilled lives 🥰💕

I am a strong advocate for lifelong learning. My recent trip to Portugal reminded me that learning can come in the most unexpected ways. I learned:-
🌞 work can be a lot of fun
🌞 I have an emotional connection to sunset, but not to sunrise
🌞 I am capable of watching sunrise and sunset on the same day, but probably won't do it again 🤣
🌞 I can take a good photo, but not always
🌞 nature nourishes me as much as oxygen
🌞 I can walk 3.5 miles! Didn't think I could walk 1 mile these days
🌞 storks nest in cities in Portugal and the are huge!!
🌞 ants are twice the size they are in the UK

It's my experience that you get more of what you put your attention on.

💸 thinking about debts = more debts
🥨 thinking about relationship problems = more problems
💃thinking of fun times = more fun times
🌞thinking life is wonderful - more wonderful
