Little Learners

🩵 TIME FOR AN UPDATE 🩵

It’s been a long while since our last post! I have two beautiful daughters now, and spend my evenings with them, leaving no time for tutoring. I also have moved into a career in marketing which I absolutely love!

Unfortunately, the doors to Little Learners will remain closed for the foreseeable future. I want to thank each and every person who supported my small business. I found so much joy in teaching your little ones and watching them grow in confidence and skills. It’s now time for me to focus on my own little family and to give them the time they deserve with their mummy.

Love always,
Sam x

🌞 EXTRA PROTECTION 🌞

Did you know that the UV protection in sun cream wears off? These handy little stickers change colour to let you know when you need to reapply!

We think they’re fabulous! They’ll help you keep your little ones properly protected from the sun while you enjoy the summer break from school.

Just £2.50 in Boots.

☀️ ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH ☀️

Did you know that sun creams are independently tested and rated by Which?

You can check their UVA and UVB rating here before buying: https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/sun-creams/article/baby-and-child-sun-creams-axul41V6B4lf

Interestingly, in their recent tests, two sun creams were labelled as DON’T BUY. Read more about those here: https://www.which.co.uk/news/2021/06/popular-adults-and-kids-sun-creams-fail-which-sun-protection-tests/

🙌🏼 FINE MOTOR SKILLS 🙌🏼

Kitchen tongs are an excellent resource to encourage children’s fine motor skills.

Grab a few items and a few containers, and let your little one sort some household items using the tongs.

Pe***ng things onto a line of string is another great activity! Why not try writing out times tables and asking your child to mix them, then hang them up in order.

Better fine motor skills = better handwriting!
