We finished our Disley Summer Holiday club today, on behalf of all the coaches, thank you all for attending over the last 5 weeks. We’ve seen so many children come through our doors and enjoy loads of great activities. ⚽️

It was a blast, we DID also manage to get some fantastic photos 📸 we will share with you over the next week or so.

We are BACK next time in October Half term🗓️

Coach Ben Gove (Big Ben)

Ben has without a doubt shown that hard work and dedication does end with rewards. Firstly taking on board extra finance roles, he then went further onto building a fantastic following at Glossop St Mary’s. This has been evident with our great numbers at our Glossop Holiday Club.

With the highest numbers to date at St Mary’s it’s been some feat to build a club that was struggling with a following.

So I hope you join me in saying well done to Ben as a well deserved winner 🏆

Don’t forget with any bad weather, don’t forget your coats, we do have indoor and outdoors but it’s always good to be prepared if we go outside in the rain.

Also, don’t forget your packed lunch with plenty to drink. We can refill bottles with water. We run a small tuck shop for snacks as well. £1 is more than enough!!

New Mills & Glossop Leisure Centre - Notice ‼️

Dear Parents/Guardians,

It's with great regret that we have been put in a position where we have no other choice but to cancel some days of our holiday club programme at both sites, in Partnership with New Mills & Glossop Leisure Centres .

We want to be clear and transparent about our clubs and It's been disappointing that, at a late stage in developing the clubs the funding we were set to get to run the programme, wasn't allocated to us by DCC through the HAF programmes. This fund had been allocated to the centres over the last few years and we still haven't been able to get a response from them as to why it wasn't given to us as a partnership.

This unfortunately has now made it very difficult to run the clubs for the full summer programme.

You may have been sent this email today as the following day you booked has been cancelled. Below are the initial bookings already cancelled !! 👇

You will receive a cancellation email shortly. There are 3 options to change your booking;
-Change to a different day
-Change to our St Mary's Glossop club or Disley Stockport club for the same day with 50% refund.

Thank you for all the lovely gifts and kind words sent to us over the last week. It’s always a privilege for us to work with such wonderful children across all of our schools!!

Amazing from our parents to recognise our team, we never expect anything at the end of the year so this is always an added bonus for us.

Thank you to everyone that came to the holiday clubs over our 3 locations. We had played some great sports and games, unfortunately the weather ruined our picture day plans so we hope to get more photos at our next club.

A special shout out to our Glossop and Poynton clubs that have been growing and growing over the last few years and we’ve had a superb response from bookings this Easter. More to come from all our clubs in WHIT and Summer.
