This made me think back to my childhood. After my Grandad died I was terrified to sleep on my own at my grandparents house ( he died there), so I began sharing a bed with my granny even when she moved house. She always complained I kicked her throughout the night. Once she fell and broke her hip, in an accident completely unrelated, the co sleeping stopped. Isn’t it strange the things that bring memories back?
