Next Parent Council meeting is Friday 15th September in Pitteuchar East at 1.30pm. Everyone welcome and any new ideas for fundraising welcome. A copy of the last minutes is attached but can be emailed if required.

Can all Pitteuchar East parents spread the word about the disco on Friday 1st sept. We have had a few shares but very little offers of help. Sadly, we can't do these discos without parent support, please, if you can put your name and what disco you can help at on this message below

Its time for the Back to school disco!! Friday 1st September! P1 to P3 is 6.00pm to 7.15pm. P4 to P7 is 7.30pm to 9pm. Tickets are £2.00 and paid on the door. Hot Dogs, juice, and goodies are available to buy. Please note ALL children must be collected or a written note giving permission to go home unescorted. It also helps us immensely if the children can bring coins/ change rather than large notes to spend as we have limited change available.

As always, these discos are run by volunteers from the parent council, and we are looking for more helpers to assist at both dicsos. If you can help at either or both, put your name in the comments and what disco you can help at.

You can help with time or ideas and help shape the way the parent council can work within the school. Please comment on this post or hand in your name and number to reception if interested. We have told you about the tuck trolley now we are asking for your help!! We are looking for helpers in running the trolley, we need a Tuesday person and any other volunteers. Even if you can't commit to a day each week but can maybe be on hand if needed, maybe do odd days. All help is welcome, and it takes max 45 mins. Full training and support given. The profits from the tuck shop pay for the hire of the shipping container, which is our "play pod". This is something our bairns love! They look like they're 'just playing' but the language and science skills they develop, while they are having a blast, is phenomenal!
Supporting our tuck shop means we can keep the play pod going.

Welcome back! Bit of a damp summer, but hopefully, lots of memories made. Tuck shop is up and running again. For all the new parents, we run a little tuck trolley each school day where items such as crisps, fruit shoots, apples, cheese strings, and the very popular fruit strings are sold. Prices are listed below:

APPLES 20P
CRISPS 40P
JUICE 30P
CHEESE STRINGS 40P
FRUIT STRINGS 30P
BISCUITS 20P

We hope to see all the kids soon.

If anyone can help at the 2nd disco on Thursday 7.30 to 9pm we could use a few extra hands. It would be much appreciated. PlEASE REMEMBER TO BRING ALL YOUR CHANGE AS WE ARE LIMITED IN OUR CASH RESOURCES AND ARE UNABLE TO CHANGE NOTES. THANKS
