MASK aims to provide stimulating and social play opportunities in a safe, nurturing setting with trained and experienced staff. We will achieve this by providing a varied programme of active and creative experiences utilising both indoor and outdoor environments. We will provide a nutritious healthy snack with access to fluids throughout the session. MASK is a community organisation run by a paren
ts committee, whose aim is to provide a high level of service at the lowest cost to the parents of primary school aged children, as is financially viable. This will enable parents to continue or seek employment or return to education. We will achieve this by working in partnership and building mutually trusting relationships with the parents/guardians. We aim to provide an inclusive friendly play setting. We will achieve this by raising awareness of various cultures, religions and disabilities. We will work in partnership with local support agencies to ensure the setting is accessible to all children and their parents. We aim to promote positive behaviour and encourage friendships. We will achieve this by the staff being good role models as children learn by imitating adults. We will praise and recognise positive behaviour at all times. We will also encourage peer support between the children especially between our youngest and eldest children.
