ouseRules

Our social media channels feature a variety of information from our services and partners, keeping you informed and up to date with what's happening across Fife. We're here to help in any way that we can, and we will always aim to be supportive and respectful in our posts and any comments we respond to. We expect the same of all those contributing to our page. We want our social media channels to be safe, healthy, and open places for discussion and the exchange of views and we have the following house rules to help support that.

- All users must comply with the social media platform's terms of use as well as our own terms of use
- We answer enquiries/messages as soon as possible within working hours
- We will remove, in whole or in part, posts that we feel are inappropriate – for example bullying or harassment - or discriminatory against any individual or group
- You are wholly responsible for any content you post including content you choose to share

We will remove messages (where function allows) and report and/or block users on our social media channels who post messages at us which we believe are:

- abusive or obscene
- deceptive or misleading
- in violation of any intellectual property rights, including copyright
- in violation of any law or regulation
- spam and off-topic content (persistent negative and/or abusive posts in which the aim is to provoke a response)
- promotional material, including links to external websites and promotions

Anyone repeatedly engaging with us using content or language which falls into the above categories will be blocked and/or reported to the associated social media platform. We will not tolerate or respond to abusive messages. We must always remain politically neutral on social media which is why council officers are unable to reply to, endorse or engage with, any content that is of a party political nature. Political issues can be discussed with local councillors.

Quote of the Week. Each new school year starts with everyone highly motivated to get it right for all in the class. Once everyone gets to know each other better and the reality of meeting everyone's needs is clear is when the skills, experience and determination set in!

It's that time of year again when the Parent Council have to have their AGM. This is the meeting where people are nominated for roles. If we do not get enough people attending, we can't carry on with the meeting, so please attend if you can. It doesn't mean you'll get a job, but will be a big help to officially carrying on the Parent Council into this school year. Lay members who are not parents are also welcomed.

Quote of the Week. We are starting the year clear about what we would like to improve to enhance our children's learning and to make sure they have as many opportunities and, of course, fun along the way!

We can't wait to welcome everyone back this morning! A wee reminder that the car park will be busier than usual at drop off and pick up times. We would appreciate your patience for a few days until everyone gets used to the new set up.

Well, we have had a very busy couple of days preparing for the children's return! Most of the PSAs have completed Bikeability training which involved learning how to check the bike over and do basic maintenance, as well as learn how to help our children progress in their riding. They were even let loose in the local community! We also did Child Protection and Health and Safety Awareness training, looked at our new School Improvement Plan and worked on our Community Learning Guidance. Time in classrooms to get organised too! Not forgetting shopping for new equipment to go in our new Training Kitchen... it's not quite finished yet, but is looking great and we can't wait to show you it and get in there using it again!
