Our social media channels feature a variety of information from our services and partners, keeping you informed and up to date with what's happening across Fife. We're here to help in any way that we can, and we will always aim to be supportive and respectful in our posts and any comments we respond to. We want our social media channels to be

safe, healthy, and open places for discussion and the exchange of views and we have the following house rules to help support that.

- All users must comply with the social media platform's terms of use as well as our own terms of use
- We answer enquiries/messages as soon as possible within working hours
- We will remove, in whole or in part, posts that we feel are inappropriate – for example bullying or harassment - or discriminatory against any individual or group
- You are wholly responsible for any content you post including content you choose to share

We will remove messages (where function allows) and report and/or block users on our social media channels who post messages at us which we believe are:

- abusive or obscene
- deceptive or misleading
- in violation of any intellectual property rights, including copyright
- in violation of any law or regulation
- spam and off-topic content (persistent negative and/or abusive posts in which the aim is to provoke a response)
- promotional material, including links to external websites and promotions

Anyone repeatedly engaging with us using content or language which falls into the above categories will be blocked and/or reported to the associated social media platform. We will not tolerate or respond to abusive messages. We must always remain politically neutral on social media which is why council officers are unable to reply to, endorse or engage with, any content that is of a party political nature. Political issues can be discussed with local councillors.

Glenrothes High School Senior Awards Ceremony

Again, this was a great success- supported by staff and celebrated by the whole school community! Family and friends joined us for a heart-warming celebration where we reflected on and recognised the hard work and many and varied achievements of our young people. There are a selection of photos from the day- we hope you enjoy! Huge congratulations to our young people, and the our wider school community- we thank you for your continued support!

We also have a very special farewell to say today to the last remaining s6’s in GHS from session 25-26. These pupils chose to stay on until the summer and embrace the final few weeks of school. These pupils have been a huge part of our school over their 6years here, and will all be hugely missed. We are however very proud of all they have achieved and the levels of resilience they have all shown. We are proud of you guys and wish you all the best!

Today we say a very fond GHS farewell to some wonderful staff, some of which have worked with us since 1998!!!

Mrs Guy- our wonderful clerical officer, leaves us this summer after 28 years of GHS service. She has spent countless hours sorting out EMA for pupils, reminding staff to do their registers and sorting teachers out when they forget their passwords!! Mrs Guy will be massively missed by all but we very much hope she enjoys her retirement!

Mrs Grieve leaves us after having worked at GHS since 2012- heading up the Home Ec department- she has worked tirelessly over the years to support our pupils in building vital life skills as well as feeding the hundreds at award ceremonies each year!
Mr Sealey has left us after working within our Design Tech department since 2011.

Mr Forsyth leaves our Social Studies department having worked here since 2016.
Mr Forsyth was part of our Guidance team for a spell, as well as working closely with our GHS Young Carers.

Miss Kelly leaves us having worked in the Art department since 2018. She was a very positive and enthusiastic member of the art team, encouraging many pupils to develop their creative skills.

Miss Malcolm leaves us having worked in our PE department since 2022! Again, Miss Malcolm has shown pupils how to be enthusiastic about their fitness and has been a great support to many pupils during her time here.

Mr Vyse leaves us having worked with us since 2023 in our science department. Mr Vyse has a great level of enthusiasm for his subject, and shared this with the pupils he taught.

Miss Buist has worked within our Maths department since 2024 and more recently worked within our Enhanced support Provision (her help was massively appreciated!!), she has been a massive support to many of our pupils, and will be a missed!

All staff leaving has made a massive impact on our young people at Glenrothes High School- we wish them all the very best for their futures, whether going onto pastures new, or looking forward to a long and happy retirement.
