Our Disability Snowsport UK Summer Sessions 2026 at the SnowDome have been full of fun, friendship and adventure!

From snowsports and ice-skating to climbing, games and crafts, it’s been fantastic to see so many young people getting involved, trying new things and building confidence along the way 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the sessions so special. We’ve loved seeing everyone have fun, make new friends and enjoy being active together.

We’d like to say a special thank you to Consensio Chalets | Luxury Ski Chalets for their help with funding the sessions, we couldn’t do it without you. We also want to thank the SnowDome for supporting us with these sessions and providing us with a space to do so.

Jacqui and Keira from Smartbox AAC - UK and Ireland came into our regular Monday evening closed slope session to hand over a wonderful new Communications Board for the DSUK Hub at The Snow Centre Manchester .

The Communications Board is specifically designed for learners who need augmented or alternative communication to get the most out of their skiing or snowboarding. It includes symbols representing some of our favourite words like snow, like, again, more and happy - as well as some that are just as important such as tired and stop.

We’re super grateful to Smartbox for making the Hub, and The Snow Centre even more welcoming to people with a wide range of communication needs.

We’d love to take this opportunity to give a huge fundraising shoutout to our longstanding member Graeme Ballard. Graeme is a DSUK member and a Paralympian with Cerebral Palsy.

Graeme undertook the Chorley 10k for us in May and between his online fundraising, sponsorship form and cash, he’s raised a whopping £511.25!

Disability Snowsport UK Hemel - Group Performance Coaching 🚨

DSUK Hemel are thrilled to announce the next series of dates for our Group Performance Coaching Sessions at DSUK Hemel.

The sessions are designed to take your skiing/snowboarding beyond private lessons into a group setting so you can keep improving your ability and ski with others in a group setting.

Each session costs £60 for 2 hours which includes a lift pass. There are max 6 spaces on each session.

To book onto these sessions, you are required to be an intermediate to advanced, independent skier or snowboarder (including on the lift).

Open to the following:
• Mono and Dual skiers
• Stand-up skiers (including 3 and 4 track)
• VI with a guide
• Stand up snowboarders
