We are getting lots of questions about the festival opening times and where to buy guides etc so….

🌼The Festival starts at 11am on Sun 2nd Aug and finishes at 6pm Sun 9th Aug
🌸Heather Football Club open 10-5pm daily with FREE parking, Car Park closes at 8pm.
🌼Heather Village Hall 10-4pm daily with FREE parking. Car Park closes at 7pm.
🌸Please use car parks, avoid on street parking. Car parks open at 9am.
🌼Guides are available for £3 from Heather Football Club, Heather Village Hall, the Corner Shop, The Queens Head, The Crown Inn, Lynda’s Garage Sale and Cattows Farm. After 5pm please buy from Shop and Pubs.
🌸Toilets and refreshments available at Heather Football Club and the Village Hall. Also Pubs and Cattows Farm

🙏 Please buy a guide, it’s the only way we raise funds for the village. £3 for a whole day out……you can’t get much cheaper than that!!

Polite Notices

♥️ Please respect our wonderful village, its residents and the fantastic scarecrow displays.

🗑️ Put litter in bins - there are lots around the village.

🛑 Do not touch, lean, climb on scarecrow displays, they are delicate, they will break and you could get hurt.

🅿️ Don’t park on streets or on pavements, it creates problems for pushchairs and wheelchairs. We provide lots of free parking, please use it.

🤕 Don’t climb on residents railings, fences and walls. They will get damaged and you could be hurt.

🚸The village roads are all open and busy. Please be careful when crossing roads and keep children close by.

I was just watching a news item about domestic abuse and was shocked to learn that a phone call reporting domestic abuse is made every 30 seconds and a life is lost every 3 days…if you or someone you know needs help please do reach out, support is there and things can change…..

Day out during the summer break?

A simple activity which involved conversations and learning about nature, colours and colour mixing, patterns and symmetry and even a bit of road safety when one of the designs was red, amber, green…..

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the children, families and staff team for all their help, flexibility and support to get us all through this very hot week……and for the treats to keep us cool x
Looking forward to lower temperatures and some rain next week!

Toddlers is going ahead tomorrow as the group meets before temperatures reach their peak
