What do you actually get when your child comes to Glastonbury Forest School? A qualified and experienced teacher, Forest school qualified leader, qualified coach, Mentor, Qualified safeguarding Lead through SSCP , Qualified paediatric and outdoor first aider, Nurture trained, SEN trained, Trauma trained and more. Amongst the other Forest school practitioners are: Early years educator, teaching assistant, qualified teacher, support worker, play worker, youth worker and more!

With the current situation in England with drought conditions and high temperatures, we took the decision, not light fires way before the government warnings. This means we haven't been toasting marshmallows this summer. A sweet treat however, during a whole day in the woods is really appreciated. This week we had melted chocolate in a cup, in boiling water (brought in a flask from home). NO fire YES Fondue!
