Good afternoon everyone!
I am a local childminder based in Meare and will be reopening my doors to little ones July 2024. I am starting a fresh, after maternity leave. Up until recently I was fully booked, but after a change of events, I now have 1 space available Monday - Thursday 8-6.
Spaces would most suit children born around February - August 2023 as this is the age of some of the others who are attending.

Minimum of 8 hours a day, no minimum days. Funding accepted.

Lots of chances to meet up beforehand and socialise the little ones in prep for a start in July 🤩

Hello everyone!
Mid July we introduced our little man to the world! We cannot believe he is already over 2 months old! He is so very lovely and his big sister (who is now 2y and 8 months 😱😱) loves him to pieces! Thanks for all the well wishes and love! ###x

Two lovely days spent saying goodbye to one of my littlies last week.

Thursday: Bath Christmas markets

Friday: a trip to Bristol aquarium via the park and ride (which was everyone's favourite part!)

We saw so many cool fish and animals at the aquarium and have talking about them all weekend!

I currently have a space on a Thursday and a space on a Friday for a child between 1 and 4 years old.

In the meantime I am offering book ahead, ad-hoc, non contractual care for children who need odd random days. Meaning you don't have to sign up to regular care.

The charge is the same as my other mindees, minimum £40 for 8 hours. We are open for 10 hours (£5 an hour).

Our days generally consist of crafts, baking, making, playing, socially interacting, reading, exploring and generally having lots of fun! We often go out for walks, visits to farms, shops, parks, nature reserves, toddler groups etc

We love having new people to play, so feel free to swing by and see what we are all about.

Dates in December we have free:
15th, 16th, 21st, 22nd

Dates in January we have free:
5th, 6th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th, 27th

A super day out at Stourhead yesterday! Lots of places to explore in the gardens. We met two very friendly ducks too, who wanted to share our lunch, they liked the look of our homemade snacks! We loved looking around the house, climbing all the staircases and looking at all of the paintings of all the children and their mummies and daddies.

The grotto and waterfalls were definitely a highlight for us, along with our new duck friends obviously!

We are so excited to be National Trust members again! We love visiting their beautiful properties and gardens. There will be lots of National Trust visits in the future with our childminding friends, especially, Lytes Cary Manor which is only 20 mins or so away!

A lovely day spent exploring the Rural Life Musuem. We dressed up and played with old fashioned clothes and tools. We climbed, played with stones and rocks, explored carts and sewing machines, big barns and an orchard. We also met all of the animal statues. We are now annual pass holders 🥳 so we can visit lots more times in the year with the other children who come and play!

We had our first stay and play today! Two happy children, making food for their teddies in our tent, reading books, playing in the water tray (practising our careful pouring skills) and creating a masterpiece in the paint tray! GLITTER GALORE! We had fun!

Another beautiful day out in the garden... this little one has been helping me plant snap peas, tomatoes, courgette and asparagus. We have also harvested our first crop of rhubarb - yummy!

Tomorrow we have our first stay and play.... we are so excited!
