WE’VE BEEN SHORTLISTED! 🌿🏆 We’re incredibly proud to share that our project at Sinclair Nursery, Glasgow has been shortlisted for the Pro Landscaper Awards 2026 in the category: ✨ Community Project of the Year ✨ This project was all about creating a nature-rich outdoor environment that inspires imagination, learning, wellbeing and connection through play. From handcrafted timber structures and natural materials to immersive pathways and creative spaces, every detail was designed with children and community at the heart of it. Huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project to life - the team, the nursery, the makers, and all those who continue to support what we do. What a lovely week we’ve had in the nursery spreading kindness and showing our appreciation for one another 💛

Our children created beautiful cards, delivered flowers to members of our local community, and even gifted chocolates to our wonderful lollipop man as a thank you. Seeing their smiles as they shared these thoughtful gestures has been so special.

Our team also took time to recognise and appreciate each other with kind words and a small gift — a lovely reminder of the supportive community we have here.

This is Sinclair Nursery, Glasgow — a complete outdoor transformation. What was once a flat soft-play surface is now a rich play and learning environment designed to spark curiosity, movement and imagination every single day. We pushed ourselves on this one — testing ideas, refining details, and creating our first ever bespoke chicken hutch 🐔 (yes, really). It’s projects like this that remind us why we do what we do. Hit play and take a look at what’s possible when outdoor space is treated as seriously as the indoor classroom.#eyfs #chickens

After a very busy, wet, and cold five weeks, the Cool Canvas Team have officially finished our nursery garden — and it is more amazing than we ever imagined! We are absolutely blown away by the creativity, craftsmanship, and exceptional hard work that has gone into this project.

I cannot wait for our children to see the final result next week. The opportunities they’ll have to explore every area of the curriculum outdoors are endless… and of course, they’ll finally get to meet our nursery chickens! 🐔✨

End of Day 5 and the Cool Canvas crew are clocking off for a well earned weekend off! Luckily our empathy doll, Claire, is still holding the fort and keeping things moving. 👷🚧🚜🏗️
