Recent changes to IRATA's certification process means your yellow copy of the assessment form will no longer be a temporary certificate. Technicians will not be valid until IRATA has verified all aspects of the training and assessment, after which certification will be despatched. Whilst this process is ongoing the only form of proof of a pass will be to check IRATA's Online System (IOS) for verification of the pass while you wait for certification.
It can take up to 60 days for an assessment to be fully verified on the IOS, during which time technicians who have expired will not be able to work. IRATA are working hard to implement processes which will drastically increase the efficiency of this, though there have been no release dates given.
Here at ARA we are running weekly courses, giving our candidates the best opportunity to book in as early as they can, ensuring continuous qualification. Candidates looking to re-validate an existing level can attend up to 180 days prior to expiry and maintain their original expiry date.
