Right everyone, the 2016 is ON!

2016 has been a difficult year for many so let's spread a little Christmas love with a simple, fun gesture.

For those of you who didn't take part last year, here's a quick re-cap of the rules:

1. Pick someone who has had a tough time or might be struggling at this time of year.
2. Choose them a gift - perhaps just pick up a few extra items when you do your next shop.
3. Write them an anonymous note, with some kind words about why they are in your thoughts.
4. Leave it all at their doorstep.
5. Knock on the door and leg it - make sure they don't see you!
6. Feel happy knowing that you have spread some Christmas cheer with no expectations of anything in return.

This year I picked a wonderful young mother who was trafficked from Vietnam to the UK a few years ago. Despite having little money and no family support, she is an incredibly generous person and she is working hard to give her children the best start in life.

Please share the idea and give the challenge a go this Christmas! Let's end the year with a sense of hope and optimism for the next one
