Season Review 2025/26 - Badminton

Our badminton club have had an amazing 2025/26, filled with success and opportunities to build for next year.

Not really sure how to put this experience into one post (but I’ll give it a go anyways). Today marks my last day as Sports President.

Being Sports President for the last two years has challenged me, shaped me, exhausted me, as well as given me opportunities and people I’ll cherish for a long time.

It’s been an honour to be part of something that means so much to so many people, and to work alongside people who care so deeply about student sport.

I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to represent Strathclyde at both BUCS and SSS events, and while I’m proud of the changes and progress made during my time in the role, more than anything I hope the people around me felt supported and cared for.

Thank you to the Sports Union, Exec, Strathclyde Sport, and every club committee, volunteer, and athlete for everything you’ve given not just to me, but to student sport as a whole.

It’s been a privilege to work alongside people who care so much about creating a place where everyone can find where they belong.

There’s a lot I’m proud of, a lot I’ve learned and definitely a lot I’ll miss.
