SHOUT OUT TO THE YOUTH PANEL | Big thanks to the SSF Youth Panel for giving their time to help shape SSF's work. This group always brings the passion and ideas to make their communities and the lives of young people better. Last week members of the panel came together to talk about issues that are currently affecting young people, Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and the opportunities it will bring, the importance of diverse perspectives, safe debating and an exciting new project. Huge thanks to Vicky Ledgerwood for leading an amazing workshop on gender-based violence and peer education. What a team.

INNOVATION AND GENEROSITY | The incredible students at University of the West of Scotland Sport Management and Enterprise Module took on our Tenner to Tons entrepreneurial challenge to take £10 and turn it into much more using creative and commercial means.

Every group in this cohort rose to the challenge, the winning group set up a car wash enterprise: offering cleaning for vehicle exteriors and interiors and really considered their social impact, branding themselves as a social enterprise. Overall the students raised an incredible £941 taking their total over the past 3 years to £3011 to help us on our mission to transform young lives through sport. Which is truly amazing!

If you or your friends would like to get involved with our tenner to tons challenge you can email us at [email protected]
