We are still looking for new recruits in all sections of the band in particular the drumming section (both snares and tenors). The band is community based and is not restricted to just B.B. members. Band Practice: Mondays 7.30 P.M. - 9.00 P.M. 145th Glasgow Boys' Brigade Pipe Band was originally established in 1927.
In 1927 command of the 145th Company was relinquished by Captain Forbes in favour of Captain Archibald Stevenson. The Company strength in 1927 was 6 Officers and 30 Non-commissioned Officers and Boys. With the formation of the Life Boys a steady increase in numbers began which reached its peak in 1936-37, when the numbers were 11 Officers and 84 Non-commissioned Officers and Boys. The Pipe Band wa

An fantastic result today for the band at the Glasgow Battalion, Bandβs Contest.

1st Mini Band Contest

1st Pipe Band Contest (Confined)

If you are stuck for something to do today in the horrendous weather conditions, get yourself down the the Lochee Baptist Centre, Bright Street, Dundee for the Dundee Battalion Pipe Band Contest.
The contest starts with Junior Solos at 09:30 and runs through to around 15:00 with the full bands contest.
The afternoon sees the Solo pipers competing for the coveted Powerhorn.
