💡Saturday 7th February marks the birthday of Charles Dickens, one of Britain’s most famous and influential authors. His stories, including Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol and Great Expectations, are still read and loved by students today.

✨ Fun fact: Dickens originally published many of his novels in weekly or monthly parts, meaning readers had to wait for the next chapter, just like a 19th-century version of a TV series! This helped build suspense and excitement around his stories.
