🐾 A very special Scottie moment! 🐾

We absolutely loved seeing the news that Glasgow’s wonderful Scotties in the City have been reunited ahead of their charity auction for Maggie’s! 💛

Our children have loved spotting the colourful Scotties around the city this summer and some of our recent Poppins Pupils stopped with our Poppin' Scot to take a picture🐶📸

The Scotties have brought so much colour, creativity and fun to Glasgow, with 40 giant sculptures and 52 wee Scotties forming part of the trail. Even more importantly, the project has been raising awareness and vital funds for Maggie’s, supporting people living with cancer and their families.

Our Scottie is making his way home this week and will have his own special place and display within our nursery for all of our children to enjoy 🐾💛

We’re so pleased our children got to experience a little piece of this brilliant Glasgow project and we think they make pretty adorable Scottie companions! 🥰

What better way to round off a crazy first half of the year than with a little team building at Topgolf! ⛳️💛

The last few months have asked so much of our team. From moving out of our nursery, adapting to a completely different environment, navigating the renovation, moving everything back home and getting our beautiful new space ready, there has been a LOT of change! 😅

And through every bit of it, this team has shown the most incredible adaptability, determination and spirit.

There have been challenges, long days, changes of plans and plenty of moments where we’ve simply had to pull together and make things work. But what I admire most is that throughout it all, our team have never lost sight of why we do what we do; our children and families. 💛

This morning was another moment to feel incredibly proud as we opened our doors for a wonderful Open Day, welcoming families from our waiting list into Poppins and finally getting to show them the environment that so much hard work, thought and love has gone into creating.

But beautiful buildings don’t make a nursery - people do. 🫶

And we genuinely couldn’t be prouder of the team we have built.

A team who care deeply about our children, but also about each other. A team who are willing to reflect, challenge themselves, learn from one another and keep growing together. A team who want to develop professionally and continually make Poppins better. And, importantly, a team who can still laugh together and lift each other up.

There is something really special about watching a group of people grow into a team that genuinely wants to see one another succeed.

To our Poppins team - thank you. For your patience, your resilience, your ideas, your flexibility, your hard work and, most of all, the heart you bring to Poppins every single day.

We admire you, appreciate you and absolutely love the team we have become. 💛

Here’s to everything we’ve achieved so far… and to continuing to learn, grow and build something really special together ✨
