Advanced Maths provides small-group online tutoring sessions specifically tailored for the Advanced Higher maths course.
With nearly twenty years teaching experience at one of Scotland's top performing schools and over a decade of delivering the Advanced Higher course, I am a fully qualified and highly experienced secondary teacher who takes great pride in my knowledge of the course and the results my pupils have achieved over the years.
Each week, students will join an 80 minute Zoom session designed to be highly interactive with sessions throughout the year that will cover the entire course. With class sizes capped at just 10 pupils, every learner gets the personalised support they need, while also gaining insights from the questions and discussions sparked by their peers as they would in a traditional classroom setting.
We prioritise engagement with our ‘cameras on’ policy and teaching techniques that promote active participation, ensuring that every student stays focused, involved, and supported throughout each lesson.
Lesson schedules will be posted in advance and for each lesson taken, students will be provided access to an accompanying video lesson and work that can be used to consolidate their learning outwith the online tutorial.
Our 80 minute sessions will run weekly to a set timetable and if our timetable or lesson schedule doesn’t meet your needs, please get in touch and let us know as more classes can be added based on demand.
Classes are block booked for 1 month at a time and those already booked will be given priority for a slot in the next block.
