I got sent this. It's a bit 'click-bait-y' but some of it resonates strongly. There are a lot of elements in here that are reflected in my coaching approach, for example by another name/s:

Most people are hard on themselves because they think it helps.
But here’s the truth…
Being constantly self-critical doesn’t build you up.
It drains your energy, confidence, and momentum.
Try this instead:
Before you act, ask 👉 “Will my future self thank me for this… or resent it?”
That applies to:
How you speak to yourself
The habits you choose
The standards you hold

'Coaching is about fixing you.'
This might be a belief you hold. It's not true.
Most people I speak to aren’t broken.
They’re capable, experienced, and already performing at a high level.
But they’re also:
• Unclear on what they really want next
• Pulled in multiple directions
• Operating in roles they’ve quietly outgrown
That’s not a capability issue.
It’s perspective.
Because at a certain level, the questions change:
👉 'Is this right for me?'
👉 'Where do I create the most impact?'
👉 'Am I playing at the level I’m capable of?'
Good coaching doesn’t hand you answers.
It helps you:
• See your situation more objectively
• Challenge assumptions you didn’t realise you had
• Cut through the noise and focus on what actually matters
It’s less about adding something new and more about removing what’s in the way.
You don’t need fixing. You need a better vantage point.
And once you have that decisions get easier, and progress gets faster.
