Our new 2022/2023 programme has launched!
We are now open to bookings from all eligible pupils to take part in the following:
- S6 Portfolio Courses
- S5 Portfolio Courses
- Architecture Portfolio Courses
- S4 Creative Club
- Watch & Chat

These activities are designed to help pupils learn more about and prepare for application to art, design and architecture courses at college or university.

We also provide eligible pupils with application support throughout the application process to GSA.

The Pipe Factory (42 Bain St, Glasgow G40 2LA), will be home to Glasgow School of Art Third Year Students art exhibition ‘Pipe Dream’.

The exhibition will be presented in two parts: with a preview on Wednesday 4th May 2022 (12pm -5pm) and official Opening Night same evening (5pm-7pm). Show One will run until the evening of Thursday 5th May. Similarly, Show Two will preview all day Saturday (12pm-5pm) with an Opening Night on the evening of Saturday 7th May (5pm-7pm) and run until the evening of Sunday 8th May.

Bookings Now Open! S4 Creative Club - June 26th, 11am -1pm

S4 Creative Club is a series of online workshops taking place on the last Saturday of every month. Delivered live on MS Teams, pupils will learn how to make interesting creative work with a different art material each month, posted for free before each session. Pupils will be guided by a friendly GSA tutor and student mentor who will give feedback on work throughout.

These sessions are aimed at pupils who will be in S4 as of Aug 2021.

'Alternative Degree Show Festival' @ Mid Wharf Art and Design 24/05/2021

Check out this great art festival thats been put together by current students at GSA:

"The Alternative Degree show is a student-led initiative that will take the form of an art festival spread across a number of venues in Glasgow. Part 1 kicks off on the 27th of May with the Sculpture and Environmental Art show. In part 1, work will be shown in the Briggait, the Wash House, Woodlands Community Garden and Mid Wharf Art and Design."

'Alternative Degree Show Festival' @ Mid Wharf Art and Design Near the heart of the city, Mid Wharf Art and Design is one of the venues hosting the Alternative Degree Show Festival!

We are now accepting bookings for our S4 Fridays event, taking place over the Easter holidays.

Across two live online sessions, S4 Fridays will give an introduction to sketchbook, observational drawing, pattern and model making skills.

The free 3hr workshops will be delivered live on Microsoft Teams on Friday mornings at 10am, with GSA Tutors providing guided demonstrations of each activity. Materials will be provided free of charge and delivered to your home before the first session.

This is a fantastic opportunity for eligible S4 pupils interested in Fine Art, Architecture and Design.

You'll need access to a computer, tablet or smartphone, and an internet connection in order to participate.

Session one: Friday 9th April 2021, 10am – 1pm
Session two: Friday 16th April 2021, 10am – 1pm

Please note, you need to be available to attend both sessions.
