We are delighted to announce the signing of as the first signing for our “28 class!

Kitty joins us after a fantastic season with , where the U16 team went unbeaten in the league to win their JPL division, as well as making a trip to the JPL Peer-to-Peer competition. There, Kitty had the opportunity to test herself against teams including AFC Bournemouth and West Ham, among others.

Kitty is a player we’ve watched several times for FC Evolution before reaching the point of signing her. She brings a strong physical presence in her attacking midfield role, alongside an excellent passing range, creativity, and a real goal threat in the final third.

We look forward to working with Kitty and her family going forward, and to watching her game continue to develop throughout the 2026/27 season, all ready for her big move to the states in 28!

From US High School Soccer to a €100 Million Move?! 👀⚽

RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande is one of the hottest young prospects in world football right now, with multiple Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Liverpool, reportedly interested in the Ivory Coast international for a fee of around €100 million.

But did you know that just three years ago, he was playing for AS Frenzi in the UPSL in the United States?

For those unfamiliar with AS Frenzi or the UPSL, on Wednesday’s post we explained the professional soccer pyramid in the US, with the UPSL sitting at the fourth tier of the American soccer system.

While Diomande’s meteoric rise is an incredible achievement, it also highlights the benefits of taking a different pathway to develop your game and gain exposure through US soccer.

At just 16, Diomande made the decision to join a US high school programme, as he was unable to sign for a professional club until he turned 18. Away from the spotlight of European football, he was given the platform to showcase his talent and attract interest from clubs around the world.

That exposure earned him a move to Leganés in La Liga at 18, followed by a transfer to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

Now, at just 19 years old, Diomande is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in the game and was crowned Bundesliga Rookie of the Year following a breakout season.
