💛 Every Conversation Matters 💛

At Primrose City Nursery, we know that some of the most important moments in a child's day don't happen during planned activities, they happen through the little conversations, shared smiles, and meaningful interactions with the adults around them.

Whether we're chatting about a tower they've built, wondering where a ladybird is going, singing songs together, or simply listening as they tell us about their favourite dinosaur, these everyday moments are incredibly powerful.

Positive interactions help children to:
🌼 Build confidence and self-esteem.
🗣️ Develop their language and communication skills.
🧠 Strengthen their thinking and problem-solving.
💛 Feel safe, valued and emotionally secure.
🌍 Make sense of the world around them.

Our team are passionate about getting down to children's level, following their interests, asking thoughtful questions, introducing new vocabulary, and taking the time to really listen. We don't just supervise play, we join in, extend learning, and build genuine relationships that help every child thrive.

We are incredibly proud of the warm, nurturing atmosphere we've created at Primrose City Nursery, where every child is seen, heard and celebrated every single day.

Because sometimes the smallest conversations make the biggest difference. 🌼

PLEASE SHARE!

🌼 Do you think being covered in playdough, finding glitter in your shoes three days later, and having tiny humans proudly hand you a "cup of tea" made from muddy water sounds like a great day at work?

If you answered "absolutely!" then we might have the perfect job for you! 💛

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our amazing team at Primrose City Nursery. Every day is different – one minute you're building dinosaur habitats, the next you're leading a dance party, comforting a little one, or celebrating a child's biggest milestones.

If you have a passion for helping children learn, grow and blossom, we'd love to hear from you.

📧 Send your CV to [email protected]

🌼 Come and help little minds blossom at Primrose City Nursery. 💛

✨ The simplest resources can provide some of the richest learning experiences. 💛

Our babies have been enjoying exploring a variety of loose parts, including wooden rings, pom poms, cupcake cases and pegs. Through filling, emptying, balancing, posting, throwing and exploring different textures, they are developing important skills such as fine motor control, problem-solving, concentration and creativity, all through child-led play.

Loose parts don't need to be expensive either! Many everyday household items can provide endless opportunities for learning and discovery at home.

What are your child's favourite everyday objects to explore? We'd love to hear in the comments! 😊👇

💜 An Inspiration to Us All! 💜

We are incredibly proud to share that Susan Govan, one of the Directors of our family of nurseries, is taking on an amazing challenge to raise funds for CHAS, Children's Hospices Across Scotland.

On 19th July, Susan will be skydiving from an aeroplane in support of this wonderful charity, helping to make a difference to the lives of children and families who need it most.

At 73 years young, Susan continues to inspire us all with her energy, sense of adventure, and unwavering commitment to children. Anyone who knows Susan knows that she always puts the needs of children at the heart of every decision she makes, and this incredible challenge is no exception.

Her passion, kindness, and nurturing spirit have touched the lives of so many children, families, and colleagues over the years. She reminds us all that age is no barrier when your heart is full of purpose and determination.

Susan, we are all behind you and wish you every success as you take this incredible leap! We know you'll soar just as you have throughout your life, leading with compassion, courage, and an endless dedication to giving children the very best.
