We’ve had an unforgettable year! We have raised a total of £1,133.25 for amazing charities, collaborated with fantastic societies across campus, and hosted events like our annual ball that brought so many of us together 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us this year! You helped make it all possible! We can’t wait to see what the next committee has in store 📚💫

Hello GUESSers!! It is that time of the year again 🥳🥳

We are officially opening applications to join our 2025/26 board SOON! Fancy joining our amazing team to plan some amazing events, including the ball next year? Keep on reading!! 👀👀

We’ve included pictures of the committee roles available for each position, so please have a really good look through the positions to see which ones you are interested in! If you’d like to know more about the role, please don’t hesitate to message us!!

If you wish to be a part of the GUESS committee, all you need to do is fill out the form in our bio! Include a small manifesto (no more than 300 words) that tells us about yourself and why you think you would be perfect for the position, including any ideas you have for GUESS.

If you are keen to apply for multiple roles, that is great! All we ask is that you complete the form, submit this per role and change your manifesto to suit the role you are applying for.

Voting—If any positions are contested, we will hold an online vote for members of the society to vote for who they think should receive the position. On the other hand, if only one person applies for a role, they automatically take on the role.

Hello GUESSers!! We are so excited to announce our first de-stress event- Pottery painting!!🎨🖌️

Tickets are available now on our SRC website! Tickets cost £5, which includes entry to The Craft Pottery, unlimited paints, glazing and firing of your masterpieces! Please note that this does not include the actual pottery; it is up to you to purchase these items and choose what you would like to be painted! Prices start from £3.

The Firing process can take up to 2 weeks, so we will schedule a time for you to collect these from us on campus when they are ready to be collected.

Tickets are limited; unfortunately, we cannot reserve tickets for anyone.

- Members get priority access to the tickets for the first 24 hours!
- You can purchase both members and non-member tickets during this time.
- Please note by being a member, this does not guarantee a ticket to the ball.

We’re working together to bring you this free event where you can learn more about the alphabet and common phrases used in the classroom!

This session will be held via Zoom on the 10th of October at 6-7pm!

All attendees will receive a certificate upon completion of this session!

We’re so excited to announce that we’re holding a bake sale on Wednesday, October 2nd, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.! We’ll be based outside the Fraser building (opposite the library entrance) with some delicious goodies!

We’ll have cookies, brownies, tablet and lots more! As well as some treats that cater to different dietary requirements, so come along and check it out!
